It is capable of interfering with the spirit of those high in intelligence, and lurks around forests and swamps where it bewilders any humans it comes across. In recent years, they have even been discovered inhabiting the forests around Olderion. In areas where there have been attacks and people have gone missing, it is said there is a high probability that mindflayers are nearby.
